Asian Wings

I love chicken wings. Especially when they are air fried. They are so quick, crispy and delicious I could probably eat them every day. Especially since all you have to do is change the sauce to have a completely different experience. I love to whip up a batch and freeze portions ahead of time for a quick weekday lunch.

Our favorite wings were from Yardhouse. They had these amazing firecracker wings that quickly became a favorite. Sadly, they have been removed from the menu. We have been working on recreating the recipe and while we have not perfected it, we have created these which we absolutely love.

INGREDIENTS 24 chicken wing pieces 1 T Chinese five spice salt to taste Sauce: 3 T plum sauce 1/2 jalapeno, very finely dices 1 T fresh ginger, minced 2 T sweet chili sauce 2 lg cloves garlic, minced 2 T cilantro, chopped sesame seeds for garnish

DIRECTIONS 1. Season wings with five spice and salt. 2. Airfry at 400 minutes, turning half way through. 3. While wings are cooking. Mix sauce ingredients together in saucepan and cook until thickened. 4. When wings are done cooking, toss in sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds and cilantro.
