Luxardo Cherry Ice Cream

Luxardo Ice Cream

Who doesn't LOVE ice cream in the summer? Here in Arizona, with the blistering hot sun, we are all hiding away inside waiting for cooler weather to return. Night brings some relief, allowing us to sit outside enjoying a balmy temperature that sits somewhere in the 90's.

For National Ice Cream Sundae day, I thought I would share one of my easiest, yet yummiest concoctions. To start, I gave in and bought the personal ice cream maker I was seeing everywhere. Being single serve, I could be selfish and make ice cream that was suited specifically to me. Bring in the cherries and chocolate. I didn't go with any ol' cherry. I went for the bigtime and brought in Luxardo cherries. You know, the cherries you can keep on hand for an Old Fashioned cocktail. I have always wanted to overindulge and I finally had my chance. Of course I added brownies and whipped cream because sometimes extra is the way to go.

This is so simple and quick, you can't go wrong. Give it a try

Luxardo Ice Cream

1 1/2 c heavy cream

1/4 c Luxardo cherries

3 T Luxardo cherry juice

2 T mini chocolate chips

Mix everything together. Throw it all in the freezer to cool for 10 minutes. Pour the mixture into your personal ice cream maker and turn it on. That's it, enjoy!!
