Naan Pizza. Who doesn't love a quick meal. This recipe is thrown together so quickly but is still so yummy. We will put mushrooms on just about everything and these naan pizzas highlight the delicious shroom. I did add a drizzle of aged balsamic on mine but they are wonderful without as well. INGREDIENTS 4 Mini Naan 1 c mushrooms sliced 2 t butter pinch salt 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 T butter 2T flour 1/2 c heavy cream 1/2 c half and half balsamic vinegar and fresh basil for garnish
DIRECTIONS 1. Heat butter in cast iron skillet. Add mushrooms, sprinkle with salt and cook until all liquid is gone and mushrooms are browned. Remove to bowl and set aside. 2. Heat 2T in pan, add garlic. Cook until fragrant. Add flour stirring until browned. Add heavy cream and half & half. Stir until thickened. Mixture should be thick like peanut butter. 3. Spread garlic cream mixture on naan. Top with mushrooms and pearl mozzarella. Bake in 375 oven until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with oregano and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.
