Wagyu beef. When we started on this adventure we set a mini goal for 500 followers on Instagram. The reward? Amercian Wagyu from our local butcher @lil_miss_butcher. While I was nervous of messing up this cut (of course Alan wasn't) she assured me it was almost impossible to make it a tough steak. We didn't have an issue so I can't speak to what happens if you overcook, but it sure was yummy.
We simply seasoned with The Blend (salt, pepper, garlic) and seared with with butter on the Blackstone flat top. The leftovers were delicious with eggs the next morning. I recommend giving Wagyu a try to see what the fuss is about. You only live once, right? Next up will be A5 at 1,000 followers. stay tuned.
